A Kansas native, Remington is a Bethany College graduate with an undergraduate degree in economics and finance. Remington earned his master’s degree in business administration from Baker University. He took full advantage of his college experience both inside and outside the classroom, earning scholarship recognition for outstanding academic achievement, and excelling on the university football team, while serving in leadership positions for several campus organizations.
Banking was to be Remington’s career after a short assignment as an economic development coordinator with the Salina Chamber of Commerce. From 1998 to 2007, Remington held positions of progressive responsibility at several banking institutions in Kansas including, vice president of retail banking and vice president of commercial banking.
In 2007, Signature Personal Insurance was growing significantly. Roper, the firm’s founder, reached out to the person he knew he could trust to deliver superior customer service and who had experience within the financial sector, his brother, Remington. In early 2008, Remington became a principal and general manager of Signature Personal Insurance.
Today, Remington is equally responsible for delivering a premier customer experience to Signature clients throughout the nation. He strategically directs operations, ensuring seamless management of our priorities, support staff and financial operations.
Remington’s interests are varied, but include membership in Rotary, volunteering at the Lord’s Diner and coaching youth baseball. A passionate recreational athlete and outdoors enthusiast, Remington competes in adventure racing events throughout the U.S., recently competing in the 2016 United States Adventure Race Association Nationals in Augusta, GA.
